BSP Financial Group Limited continued its annual tradition of donating $10,000 to the Fiji Cancer Society to help strengthen its support efforts for individuals battling cancer.
BSP’s general manager Corporate Services and chief financial officer, Rajeshwar Singh, commended the Fiji Cancer Society for its pivotal role in combating cancer’s impact on both men and women.
“The Society’s relentless efforts serve as an inspiration to us all. BSP stands shoulder to shoulder with you, supporting your mission,” Mr Singh said.
“We hope this contribution further empowers your cause in providing hope and assistance.”
Fiji Cancer Society chief executive officer Belinda Chan said BSP’s continued assistance was invaluable.
In addition, Ms Chan advocated on early detection, stressing its life-saving potential.
“I urge everyone to prioritise regular health check-ups,” she cautioned.
“The support from generous partners like BSP inspires us and is critical for us to be able to continue and expand our efforts so no one fights alone.
“We deliver a range of services, encompassing support, awareness and education initiatives, advocacy efforts, financial assistance, patient care provisions and peer group facilitation, guiding patients through their treatment journey.”
BSP’s also made a recent donation to the WOWS Kids Fiji Foundation and hosted a Christmas experience for the children, including a movie premier at Damodar City Cinemas, Christmas presents and lunch with their families.
